Cockpit integration : a modern concept.The storage box is installed in the nearest location to the main flight controls, facilitating mask utilization. The box can incorporate a pneumatic shut off valve as well as a microphone switch. The storage box is secured to the aircraft structure owing to DZUS fasteners. A quick disconnect fitting enables the mask to be quickly removed from the box for maintenance. In order to meet specific constraints of particular applications, a range of simplified storages for bulkhead installation is proposed. Efficient smoke protectionThe combined use of MXP210 type smoke goggles with vented shell masks provides an excellent protection against smoke and toxic gases as specified by TSO C-99 requirements. Smoke goggles can be, if required, stored inside the cockpit integrated mask storage box. Intertechnique has developped a new generation of smoke goggles, MXG Serie which procure a large field of vision and the best optical clarity. They are compatible with the MC10 Series even when wearing glasses. |
